What It Is

Optical film designed for altitude and sunload

Aviation window film is a precision-cut, optically clear treatment applied to the interior of aircraft cabin and cockpit windows. Modern nano-ceramic and carbon films reject solar heat and block over 99% of UV rays while maintaining the clarity and signal transmission your avionics demand. The film is engineered specifically for acrylic and polycarbonate panes, so installation technique and material selection prevent crazing or optical distortion.

The result is a cabin that stays cooler during ground operations and extended flight, a cockpit free from instrument-washing glare, and interior trim and seats that resist UV fade and degradation. Every installation is cut to your exact window dimensions and finished clean edge-to-edge, maintaining the professional appearance your aircraft deserves.

A technician applies dark window tint film to a vehicle's side window during an installation, using a squeegee tool to smooth the film.
Why it matters

Protection at altitude and on the ramp

Aircraft sit in direct sun for hours on the ramp, then climb into UV intensity far beyond ground level. Quality window film tackles heat soak, glare, and UV damage every mission.

Reduce cabin heat by up to 78%

Nano-ceramic film blocks infrared so your cooling systems work less and passengers stay comfortable during ground and flight operations.

Block 99% of UV radiation

Protect occupants and stop leather, headliners, and avionics displays from cracking, fading, and deteriorating over time.

Cut cockpit glare by 60%

Eliminate sun washout and instrument-panel glare so pilots have clear visibility of glass displays and flight instruments.

Added interior privacy

Keep the cabin interior out of sight from the ramp and add a finished, professional appearance to your aircraft.

Signal-safe ceramic coating

Non-metalized film means zero interference with avionics, communication systems, or navigation equipment.

Quick turnaround service

Most aircraft can be completed in a single day so your plane is ready for the next flight schedule.

FAQ

Aviation window film questions

Will film affect acrylic or polycarbonate windows?
No. We use non-crazing, optically engineered films designed specifically for aircraft glazing. Our application technique prevents hazing, adhesion problems, or optical distortion on acrylic and polycarbonate panes.
Does nano-ceramic film interfere with avionics?
No. Nano-ceramic is non-conductive and non-metallic, so your communication systems, navigation equipment, and avionics displays operate perfectly.
How long does film take to cure?
The film fully sets over 3 to 5 days. Light haze or water pockets during curing are normal and will clear as moisture evaporates.
What warranty do you offer?
Our premium films come with a transferable lifetime warranty against bubbling, peeling, cracking, and color change under normal use.
